MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 465, October 1, 1965 ] DECLARING SUNDAY, OCTOBER 3, 1965, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY. WHEREAS, the first death anniversary of the late Justiniano Borja, former Mayor of Cagayan de Oro City, falls on Sunday, October 3, 1965; and WHEREAS, the people of said city request that they be given ample time to honor with appropriate ceremony their departed city executive who served them as such from 1954 up to the time of his demise in 1964; NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Sunday, October 3, 1965, as, a special public holiday in Cagayan de Oro City.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philipines to be affixed.
