RESERVING FOR SETTLEMENT PURPOSES UNDER THE ADMINISTRATION AND DISPOSITION OF THE LAND AUTHORITY A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF DUMARAO, CUARTERO AND PONTEVEDRA, PROVINCE OF CAPIZ, ISLAND OF PANAY.
Upon the recommendation of the Governor of the Land Authority and pursuant to the provisions of Section 51 of Republic Act No. 3844, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby reserve. for settlement and development purposes, under the administration and disposition of the Land Authority, subject to existing rights, if any there be, and to future classification and survey, and to the condition that the timber and other forest products therein, as well as the use and occupancy of the area indicated as timber land or forest reserve, shall remain under the administration and control of the Bureau of Forestry in accordance with forest laws and regulations, a parcel of land of the public domain situated in the municipalities of Dumarao, Cuartero and Pontevedra, province of Capiz, and more particularly described as follows:
“Beginning at a point marked I on plan, which is identical to Provincial Boundary Monument No. 27 of Capiz and Iloilo; thence following the same provincial boundary in a general Northwest direction to point 2 which is identical to P.B.M. No. 21; thence following the western boundray of the Dumarao stock farm to point 3, which is on the bank of the Badbaran River and identical to corner 87 of Block II, described on plan; thence following the boundary of the same Block II to point 4, which is identical ‘ to MBM No. 21; thence following the western boundary of Block I to point 5, which is identical to corner 14 of the same block 1; thence following a portion of the eastern boundary of Block II described on plan as A & D, 684 has, to point 6, which is identical to corner 34 of that block; thence N 47 deg. 31 min E., 9,75.0 meters approximately to point 7, which is at the bank of the Maayon-Tuburan River at Tuburan; thence following the Maayon-Tuburan Eiver in a general southeasterly direction and then following” the Pacuan Eiver until it reaches the road going to Sara, which is point “8”; thence in a southwesterly direction to point “9”, which is identical to MBM No. 23 of Pontevedra, Cuartero and Sara, Iloilo; thence following the provincial boundary of Capiz and Iloilo in a general southerly and westerly direction to the point of beginning, containing, an approximate area of 25,000 hectares.1aшphi1”

The administration previously exercised by the defunct National Resettlement and Rehabilitation Administration (NARRA) over the above-described parcel of land is hereby acknowledged and confirmed.
