[ Proclamation No. 457, September 25, 1965 ]

DECLARING TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1965, AS A SPECAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAMARINES NORTE.

WHEREAS, the late Wenceslao Q. Vinzons, former Delegate to the Constitutional Convention, former Governor and Representative of Camarines Norte, was one of our outstanding heroes in the last war; and

WHEREAS, the people of Camarines Norte should be given full opportunity to celebrate Vinzons’ birthday anniversary on September 28, 1965, with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Tuesday, September 28, 1965, as a special public holiday in the province of Camarines Norte.
