DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 1965, AS EROPA DAY

WHEREAS, the Philippines is the host country to the forthcoming Asian Consultative Conference on Foreign Service Development jointly sponsored by the Philippine Government and the Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA) to be held in Manila from September 27 to October 3, 1965;

WHEREAS, since its organization in 1960 the EROPA has been an effective instrument for bringing about good government among the member countries and in fostering regional cooperation in the field of public administration; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting to give due recognition to the role of EROPA and to its contribution to national progress;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, September 27, 1965, as EROPA Day.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
