DECLARING FRIDAY, JULY 23, 1965, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS AND LIPA CITY.

WHEREAS, Apolinario Mabini, one of our greatest patriots, was born in Tanauan, Batangas, on July 23, 1864; and

WHEREAS, the people of Batangas should be given ample opportunity to celebrate the birthday of the “Sublime Paralytic”;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Friday, July 23, 1965, as a special public holiday in the province of Batangas and Lipa City.
