DECLARING MONDAY, MARCH 22, 1965, AS A
SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY
WHEREAS, Monday, March 22, 1965, is the 96th birthday anniversary of the late Gen. Emilio F. Aguinaldo, patriot, esteemed hero of the Revolution and President of the first Philippine Republic; and
WHEREAS, the people should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate his birthday with appropriate ceremonies:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Monday, March 22, 1965, as a special public holiday.1aшphi1
