[ Proclamation No. 370, February 26, 1965 ]

DECLARING MARCH 1-7, 1965, AS “WORKMEN’S COMPENSATION WEEK”

WHEREAS, the period from March 1 to 7, 1965, coincides with the second National Conference on Workmen’s Compensation; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to focus attention on the beneficent social legislations designed to protect workers and to make management and labor compensation—conscious;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from March 1 to 7, 1965, as Workmen’s Compensation Week under the auspices of the Bureau of Workmen’s Compensation.

I urge all officials, citizens, unions, and residents to cooperate in making the Week a success.1aшphi1
