DECLARING TUESDAY, MARCH 9, 1965, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS AND IN THE CITY OF LIPA

WHEREAS, the seventy-fourth birthday of the late Jose P. Laurel, patriot, jurist, and statesman, falls on March 9, 1965; and

WHEREAS, the people of Batangas should be given full opportunity to celebrate his birthday with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Tuesday, March 9, 1965, as a special public holiday in the province of Batangas and in the City of Lipa.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
