DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 15 TO 21, 1965, AS HUMAN RELATIONS WEEK

WHEREAS, good human relations are necessary for efficient public service and harmonious dealings in business, home life, and other fields of human endeavor; and

WHEREAS, the constant observance of good human relations will not only redound to the happiness and contentment of all but will also bolster social progress, economic development, and international understanding;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby proclaim the period from March 15 to 21, 1965, as “Human Relations Week,” to impress upon our people the need, value, and importance of good relations in all activities, under the auspices of the Dale Carnagie Club of the Philippines.
