DECLARING TUESDAY, MARCH 2, 1965, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CABATUAN, ILOILO
WHEREAS, the seventy-fourth birthday of the late Tomas Confesor, one of our most outstanding resistance leaders during the last war, falls on Tuesday, March 2, 1965; and
WHEREAS, the people of the municipality of Cabatuan, Iloilo, should be given full opportunity to celebrate his birthday with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Tuesday, March 2, 1965, as a special public holiday in the Municipality of Cabatuan, Iloilo.
