DECLARING A PERIOD OF NATIONAL MOURNING OVER THE DEATH OF SENATOR EULOGIO RODRIGUEZ, SR.

WHEREAS, the death of Senator and former Senate President Eulogio Rodriguez, Sr., a national figure esteemed by the Filipino people, is a great loss to the entire nation, and has caused deep sorrow among them;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby proclaim the period from today to the day of the burial of the late Senator Eulogio Rodriguez, Sr., as a period of national mourning. During this period, flags of all government buildings and installations throughout the Philippines shall be flown at half-mast.
