[ Proclamation No. 332, December 4, 1964 ]

DECLARING THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC EXHIBITION OF NORTHERN PHILIPPINES, TO BE HELD AT DAGUPAN CITY FROM APRIL 10, 1965 TO MAY 10, 1965, A REGIONAL EVENT

WHEREAS, there is before us the great task of implementing the Five-Year Socio-Economic Program of the government which aims at the social and economic upliftment and well-being of the masses of our people;

WHEREAS, to achieve these noble goals, there is a need for the placing in perspective the progress so far made and the goals to be achieved through regional fairs; and

WHEREAS, the logical staging area of this particular event is Dagupan City—the commercial trade center of Northern Luzon whose strategic location makes easy the congregation of all sectors from that region;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby proclaim the Socio-Economic Exhibition of Northern Philippines a regional event.

I hereby enjoin local governments, officials and employees and the entire citizenry, especially those from the region, to lend their cooperation in ensuring the success of the event.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
