DECLARING THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 1964, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY FOR NATIONAL THANKSGIVING

WHEREAS, it is fitting that a day be set aside on which to dedicate our noblest thoughts in prayer and thanksgiving to God for all the blessings He has showered upon us;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Thursday, November 26, 1964, as a special public holiday for national thanksgiving. I call upon all the people to turn their thoughts on that day to the Lord and offer Him a prayer of thanks for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
