DECLARING MONDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1964, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN QUEZON CITY.

WHEREAS, Monday, October 12, 1964, is the 25th foundation day of Quezon City, the capital city of the Philippines; and

WHEREAS, the people of Quezon City should be afforded an opportunity to fittingly observe with appropriate ceremonies this important milestone in their City’s history which has been marked with considerable growth and progress;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Monday, October 12, 1964, as a special public holiday in Quezon City.
