DECLARING SUNDAY, AUGUST 23, 1964, A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN BARRIO SAN ROQUE, TARLAC, TARLAC

WHEREAS, the birthday of the late Benecio Tobias, one of twenty-four Boy Scouts who perished in an air crash on July 28, 1963, en route to World Boy Scouts Jamboree in Athens, Greece, falls on August 23, 1964; and

WHEREAS, the people of San Roque, Tarlac, Tarlac, his birthplace, should be afforded an opportunity to pay tribute to and to honor their young hero who gave his life to. a worthy cuase;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Sunday, August 23, 1964, as a special public holiday in San Roque, Tarlac, Tarlac.1aшphi1
