MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 293, August 14, 1964 ] ESTABLISHING AS MT. MATUTUM FOREST RESERVE FOR WOOD PRODUCTION, WATERSHED, SOIL PROTECTION, AND OTHER FOREST USES, THE PARCELS OF PUBLIC DOMAIN KNOWN AS TIMBERLAND, COTABATO LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NOS. 40-B AND 47-J, PER B.F. MAP L.C.-2196, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF TUPI AND GEN. SANTOS, PROVINCE OF COTABATO, PHILIPPINES Pursuant to the provisions of section 1826 of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 3092, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, settlement, and other disposition and establish as Mt. Matutum Forest Reserve, subject to private rights if any there be, the parcels of public domain known as Timber Land, Cotabato Land Classification Project Nos. 40-B and 47-J, situated in the Municipalities of Tupi and Gen. Santos, Province of Cotabato, Philippines, demarcated and established under Forestry Administrative Order No. 4-714, dated April 29, 1958, for wood production, watershed, soil protection, and other forest purposes under the administration and control of the Director of Forestry who shall have the authority to regulate the use and occupancy of said forest reserve and the citting, collection, and removal of timber and other forest products therein in accordance with forest laws and regulations.1aшphi1 The aforementioned parcels of public domain are shown and more particularly described in the attached Bureau of Forestry Map L.C.-2196, comprising the Timber Land of the aforementioned Cotabato Land Classification Project Nos. 40-B and 47-J, containing an area of Fourteen Thousand Eight (14,008) hectares, more or less. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
