MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 290, August 14, 1964 ] ESTABLISHING AS MT. KIMONGOL FOREST RESERVE FOR WOOD PRODUCTION, WATERSHED, SOIL PROTECTION, AND OTHER FOREST USES, THE PARCELS OF PUBLIC DOMAIN KNOWN AS TIMBERLAND, DAVAO LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NOS. 1-V AND 18-L, PER B. F. MAP LC-2332 (2 SHEETS), SITUATED IN DAVAO CITY AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF KAPALONG, PROVINCE OF DAVAO, PHILIPPINES Upon recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of-section 1826 of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 3092, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, settlement, or other disposition and establish the parcels of public domain known as Timber Land, Davao Land Classification Project Nos. 1-V and 18-L, situated in Davao City and the Municipality of Kapalong, Province of Davao, Philippines, demarcated and established under Forestry Administrative Order No. 4-850, dated December 29, 1959, as Forest Reserve, subject to private rights, if any there be, for wood production, watershed, soil protection, and other forest uses under the administration and control of the Director of Foresty who shall have the authority to regulate the use and occupancy of said Forest Reserve and the cutting, collection, and removal of timber and other forest products therein in accordance with forest laws and regulations. The aforementioned parcels of public domain are shown and more particularly described in the attached Bureau of Forestry Map L.C.-2332 (2 Sheets), comprising the Timber Land of the aforementioned Davao Land Classification Project Nos. 1-V and 18-L, containing an area of twenty thousand four hundred twenty two (20, 422) hectares, more or less.
