MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 288, August 14, 1964 ] ESTABLISHING AS SUNDON-CATALANGAN FOREST RESERVE FOR WOOD PRODUCTION, WATERSHED, SOIL PROTECTION, AND OTHER FOREST USES, THE PARCELS OF PUBLIC DOMAIN KNOWN AS TIMBERLAND, ISABELA LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NOS. 7-G AND 16-H, PER B.F. MAP LC-2086, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF ILAGAN AND SAN MARIANO, PROVINCE OF ISABELA, PHILIPPINES Upon recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the provisions of section 1826 of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 3092, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, or settlement, or other disposition and establish as Sundon-Catalangan Forest Reserve, subject to private rights, if any there be, the parcels of public domain known as Timberland, Isabela Land Classification Project Nos. 7-G and 16-H, situated in the Municipalities of Ilagan and San Mariano, Province of Isabela, Philippines, demarcated and established under Forestry Administrative Order No. 4-604, dated May 4,1957, for wood production, watershed, soil protection, and other forest purposes under the administration and control of the Director of Forestry who shall have the authority to regulate the use and occupancy of said forest reserve and the cutting, collection, and removal of timber and other forest products therein in accordance with the forest laws and regulations. The aforementioned parcels of public domain are more particularly described in the attached Bureau of Forestry Map LC-2086, comprising the Timber Land of the aforementioned Isabela Land Classification Project Nos. 7-G and 16-H, containing an area of six thousand one hundred fifty-six (6,156) hectares, more or less.
