MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 286, August 13, 1964 ] ESTABLISHING AS SOUTHERN MINDORO FOREST RESERVE FOR WOOD PRODUCTION, WATERSHED, SOIL PROTECTION, AND OTHER FOREST USES, THE PARCELS OF PUBLIC DOMAIN KNOWN AS TIMBERLAND, ORIENTAL MINDORO LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NOS. 8-C AND 19-D, AND OCCIDENTAL MINDORO LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NOS. 9-G AND 17-G, PER B.F. MAP L.C-2125, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF BULALACAO AND MANSALAY, PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL MINDORO AND MUNICIPALITIES OF SAN JOSE AND SABLAYAN, PROVINCE OF OCCIDENTAL MINDORO, PHILIPPINES Upon recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the provisions of section 1828 of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 3092, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, settlement, or other disposition, and establish as Southern Mindoro Forest Reserve, subject to private rights, if any there be, the parcels of public domain known as Timberland, Oriental Mindoro Land Classification Project Nos. 8-C and 19-D, and Occidental Mindoro Land Classification Project Nos. 9-G and 17-G, situated in the municipalities of Bulalacao and Mansalay, province of Oriental Mindoro, and municipalities of San Jose and Sablayan, province of Occidental Mindoro, Philippines, demarcated and established under Forestry Administrative Order No. 4-643, dated July 31, 1957, for wood production, watershed, soil protection, and other forest purposes under the administration and control of the Director of Forestry who shall have the authority to regulate the use and occupancy of said forest reserve and the cutting, collection, and removal of timber and other forest products therein In accordance with the forest laws and regulations. The aforementioned parcels of public domain shown and more particularly described on the attached Bureau of Forestry Map L.C-2125, comprising the Timberland of the aforementioned Oriental Mindoro Land Classification Project Nos. 8-C and 19-D and Occidental Mindoro Land Classification Project Nos. 9-G and 17-G, containing an area of 61,116 hectares, more or less.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
