MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 284, August 6, 1964 ] ESTABLISHING AS MT. KABANGYASAN FOREST RESERVE FOR WOOD PRODUCTION, WATERSHED, SOIL PROTECTION, AND OTHER FOREST USES, THE PARCELS OF PUBLIC DOMAIN KNOWN AS TIMBERLAND, ORIENTAL MINDORO LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NOS. 1-M, 5-K, 10-B AND 18-A, PER B. F. MAP L. C.-2237, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF NAUJAN, CALAPAN; BACO, AND SAN TEODORO, PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL MINDORO, PHILIPPINES Upon recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the provisions of Section 1826 of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 3090, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, Phesident of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale, settlement, or other disposition and establish the parcels of public domain known as Timber Land, Oriental Mindoro Land Classification Project Nos. 1-M, 5-K, 10-B and 18-A, situated in the Municipalities of Naujan, Calapan, Baco, and San Teodoro, Province of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines, demarcated and established under Forestry Administrative Order No. 4-755, dated October 30, 1958, as Forest Reserve for wood production, watershed, soil protection, and other forest purposes, subject to private rights if any there be, and place the same under the administration and control of the Director of Foresrty who shall have the authority to regulate the use and occupancy of said Forest Reserve and the cutting, collecting, and removing of timber and other forest products therein in accordance with forest laws and regulations. The aforementioned parcels of public domain are shown and more particularly described in the attached Bureau of Forestry Map L.C-2237, comprising the Timber Land of the aforementioned Oriental Mindoro Land Classification Project Nos. 1-M, 5-K, 10-B and 18-A, containing an area of 13,328 hectares, more or less.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
