[ Proclamation No. 275, July 24, 1964 ]

DECLARING THURSDAY, JULY 30, 1964, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF PAMPANGA AND IN THE CITY OF ANGELES

WHEREAS, the seventy-seventh birthday of the late Honorio Ventura, former governor of Pampanga and Secretary of the Interior, outstanding philanthropist and exemplary public servant, falls on July 30, 1964; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of Pampanga, whom he loved so well and for whom he did so much, should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Thursday, July 30, 1964, as a special public holiday in the province of Pampanga and in the City of Angeles.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
