RESERVING FOR BUILDING SITE PURPOSES OF THE BUREAU OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED IN PORT AREA, CITY OF MANILA

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for building site purposes under the administration of the Director of Telecommunications, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of land of the private domain situated in Port Area, City of Manila, and more particularly described as follows:

Block 178 Reclamation No. 1, Manila South Harbor
(Bureau of Telecommunications)

“A parcel of land (Block 178, of Reclamation No. 1, Manila South Harbor, G.L.R.O. Record No. 144), situated in the Port Area, City of Manila. Bounded on the NE., by Chicago Street; on the SE., 22nd, Street; on ;the SW., by Boston Street; and on the NW., by 21st Street. Beginning at a point marked “1” on’ plan, being at the Northern Corner of Block 178 and which is at the Intersection of 21st Street and Chicago Street, Port .Area, .’Manila, thence S. 45 deg. 22 min. 19 sec. W., 105.00 meters to point “2”; thence S. 44 deg. 37 min. 41 sec. E., 47.641 meters to point “3”; thence N. 45 deg. 22 min. 19 sec. W., 105.00 meters to point “4”; thence N. 44 deg. 37 min. 41 sec. W., 47.641 meters to the point of beginning; containing an area of 5,002.31 square meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground by Old Corners; bearings true; declination, variable; date of survey, May, 1915.”
