DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JUNE 6 TO 12, 1964, AS PHILIPPINE FLAG WEEK

WHEREAS, the Philippine Flag is the symbol of our country and the purest ideals and aspirations of our people;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that a week be set aside to ponder on the Flag, its evolution and history, so that our people may learn to love their country more;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from June 6 to 12, 1964, as Philippine Flag Week under the auspices of the Junior Chamber of the Philippines.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
