[ Proclamation No. 236, April 24, 1964 ]

EXTENDING THE PERIOD OF THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM AND LIBRARY, INC., EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP, AND FUND DRIVE UP TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1964

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 204 authorized the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc. to conduct its 1964 educational, membership, and fund campaign during the period from March 15 to April 30, 1964; and

WHEREAS, the closing of the schoolyear and other unforseen factors have hampered the progress of the campaign to the detriment of its laudable objectives;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc., to extend its 1964 educational, membership, and fund campaign as prescribed in Proclamation No. 204, up to September 30, 1964. I enjoin all government officials and employees, private entities, citizens, and nationals to continue their unstinted support to this humanitarian movement.1aшphi1
