[ Proclamation No. 228, April 10, 1964 ]

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 1964, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CAPIZ PROVINCE AND ROXAS CITY.

WHEREAS, the fifteenth anniversary of the death of Manuel Roxas, first President of the Republic of the Philippines, falls on April 15, 1964; and

WHEREAS, the people of Capiz Province and Roxas City should be given full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Wednesday, April 15, 1964, as a special public holiday in Capiz Province and in Roxas City.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
