DECLARING SATURDAY, MARCH 21, 1964, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN ILOCOS SUR
WHEREAS, the sixty-fifth birthday of the late Benito Soliven, former Assemblyman, war hero and outstanding public servant, falls on Saturday. March 21, 1964; and
WHEREAS, the people of his birthplace, Ilocos Sur, should be afforded full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Saturday, March 21, 1964, as a special public holiday in the province of Ilocos Sur.1aшphi1
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
