DECLARING TUESDAY, JULY 23, 1963, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS AND LIPA CITY

WHEREAS, Apolinario Mabini, one of our greatest patriots, was born in Tanauan, Batangas, on July 23, 1864; and

WHEREAS, the people of Batangas should be given ample opportunity to celebrate the birthday of the “Sublime Paralytic”;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Tuesday, July 23, 1963, as a special public holiday in the province of Batangas and Lipa City.1âшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
