[ PROCLAMATION NO. 129, July 06, 1963 ]

FURTHER EXTENDING THE SPECIAL SESSION OF CONGRESS UP TO JULY 9, 1963

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 117, dated June 5, 1963, Congress was called to a special session for a period of six days from June 10, 1963, to consider three vital legislative measures;

WHEREAS, said period was last extended under Proclamation No. 126, dated June 28, 1963, up to July 6, 1963; and

WHEREAS, it appears that Congress needs some more time to consider the two pending measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby further extend the special session of Congress up to July 9, 1963.1âшphi1

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused, the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
