MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ PROCLAMATION NO. 66, December 17, 1962 ] DECLARING MONDAY, DECEMBER 24, 1962, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY WHEREAS, the twenty-third day (Sunday) and the twenty-fifth day (Tuesday) of December, 1962, being holidays, the twenty-fourth day (Monday) of December, 1962, may be declared a special public holiday to enable the people to enjoy an uninterrupted Christmas holiday without prejudice to the public interests; NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby proclaim Monday, December twenty-fourth, nineteen hundred and sixty-two, as a special public holiday.
