REVOKING PROCLAMATION NO. 42, DATED JULY 5, 1954, AS AMENDED BY PROCLAMATION NO. 373 DATED DECEMBER 21, 1956, AND PROCLAMATION NO. 650, DATED FEBRUARY 17, 1960, AND TRANSFERRING THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE PARK RESERVATION ESTABLISHED THEREUNDER TO THE QUEZON CITY GOVERNMENT

By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby revoke Proclamation No. 42, dated July 5, 1954, establishing the Quezon Memorial Park Reservation, as amended by Proclamation No. 373, dated December 21, 1956, and Proclamation No. 650, dated February 17, 1960, and the area covered thereby consisting of 197.2795 hectares, is hereby reserved pursuant to the provisions of section 64(e) of the Revised Administrative Code, for national park purposes under the administration, jurisdiction, and control of the Quezon City Government. The Commission of Parks and Wild Life shall turn over to the Quezon City Government the administration, jurisdiction, and control of the said area, together with all records pertaining thereby including those of such leases or encumbrances of any portion or portions thereof, as may have been granted in favor of any private party or parties. The Quezon City Government shall determine whether such leases or encumbrances shall be continued or terminated in accordance with law and shall take such corresponding action thereon as may be necessary to carry, into effect the purposes for which the Quezon Memorial Park Reservation has been established.1aшphi1

Executive Order No. 399, dated July 14, 1960, is hereby revoked and the powers, duties, and functions of the Executive Committee created thereby are hereby transferred to the Quezon City Government.
