DECLARING THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 1961, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY FOR NATIONAL THANKSGIVING
WHEREAS, it is fitting that a day be set aside on which to dedicate our noblest thoughts in prayer and thanksgiving to God for all the blessings He has showered upon us;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Thursday, November 23, 1961, as a special .public holiday for national thanksgiving.1aшphi1 I call upon all the people to turn their thoughts on that day to the Lord and offer Him a prayer of thanks for all the blessings He has bestowed upon as.
