DECLARING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 1961, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS AND LIPA CITY

In commemoration of the birthday of the hero and patriot, Miguel Malvar, the last Filipino general to surrender to the Americans during the Filipino-American war, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Wednesday, September 27, 1961, as a special public holiday in the province of Batangas and Lipa City.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 5th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-one, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the sixteenth.
