MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 769, July 31, 1961 ] EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 107, SERIES OF 1955, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE MASBATE PROVINCIAL CAPITOL SITE LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MASBATE, PROVINCE OF MASBATE, A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND EMBRACED THEREIN AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR MUNICIPAL SITE PURPOSES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MASBATE Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 107, series of 1955, which established the Masbate Provincial Capitol reservation, a certain portion of the land embraced therein and reserve the same for municipal building site purposes under the administration of the Municipality of Masbate, subject to private rights, if any there be, situated in the Municipality of Masbate, Province of Masbate, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows: Proposed Municipal Site of Masbate, Masbate A parcel of land (the proposed Municipal Site of Masbate, Masbate, being a portion of parcel 2, Masbate School Land Reservation Executive Order No. 45, series of 1906), situated in the municipality of Masbate, province of Masbate. Bounded on the NW, along line l-2, by property of the Provincial Government of Masbate; on the NE., SE. and SW., along lines 2-3-4-5-6-7-8, by remaining portion of Parcel 2 of Masbate School Land Reservation Executive Order No. 45, series of 1906; and on the SW., along line 8-1, by property of the Provincial Government of Masbate. Beginning at a point marked 1 on the attached sketch plan, being identical to corner 3 of parcel 2, Masbate School Land Reservation Executive Order No. 45, series of 1906; thence N. 57° 32' E., 165.00 meters to point 2; thence S. 40° 00' W., 54.62 meters to point 3; thence S. 50° 00' E., 90.00 meters to point 4; thence S. 5° 00' E., 4.00 meters to point 5; thence S. 40° 00' W., 94.38 meters to point 6; thence N. 50° 00' W., 80.00 meters to point 7; thence N. 73° 12' W., 18.02 meters to point 8; and thence N. 48° 01' E., 46.01 meters to the point of beginning; containing an approximate area of 13,004 square meters.
