DECLARING TUESDAY, JULY 25, 1961, AS COLLEGE EDITORS DAY

WHEREAS, the College Editors’ Guild of the Philippines will celebrate the pearl anniversary of its founding on July 25, 1961;

WHEREAS, said organization has been instrumental in fostering closer understanding- among our student constituencies, insuring freedom of the college press, encouraging good literature, elevating the standards of collegiate journalism, and rendering service to the country through the dissemination of knowledgeand information;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carlos P.1aшphi1 Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Tuesday, July 25, 1961, as College Editors Day,

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 20th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-one, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the sixteenth.
