DECLARING APRIL 30, 1961, AS WOMEN’S RIGHTS DAY
In order that our people may know and appreciate the important role played by women in the economic, social, and political progress of the nation, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, by virture of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare April 30, 1961, as Women’s Rights Day.
