DECLARING THURSDAY, MARCH 2, 1961, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CABATUAN, PROVINCE OF ILOILO

WHEREAS, the seventieth birthday of the late Tomas Confesor, one of our most outstanding resistance leaders during the last war, falls on Thursday, March 2, 1961; and

WHEREAS, the people of Cabatuan, his birthplace, desire that the be given full opportunity to celebrate his birthday with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Thursday, March 2, 1961, as a special public holiday in the municipality of Cabatuan, province of Iloilo.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
