MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 728, January 19, 1961 ] RESERVING FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF TAFT, MUNICIPALITY OF SURIGAO, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement, and reserve for school site purposes under the administration of the Director of Public Schools, subject to private rights, if any there be, certain parcels of land of the public domain situated in the barrio of Taft, municipality of Surigao, province of Surigao, and more particularly described as follows: Lot No. 503 Surigao Cadastre A parcel of land (Lot 503 of the cadastral survey of Surigao, L.R.C. Cad. Record No. ———), situated in the Barrio of Taft, Municipality of Surigao, Province of Surigao. Bounded on the SE., along line 1-2, by Lot 504; on the SW., along line 2-3, by Lot 3160; on the NW., along line 3-4, by Lot 502, all of Surigao Cadastre; and on the NE., along line 4-1, by Nueva St. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being N. 29° 46' W., 443.75 meters from B.L.L.M. 3, Surigao Cad., thence S. 56° 36' W., 28.21 meters to point 2; thence N. 34° 35' W., 6.80 meters to point 3; thence N. 59° 51' E., 29.28 meters to point 4; thence S. 23° 37' E., 5.22 meters to the point of beginning; containing an area of 172 square meters. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground by Old Points; bearings true; date of the cadastral survey, September 1926-March 1931. Lot No. 504 Surigao Cadastre A parcel of land (Lot 504 of the cadastral survey of Surigao, L.R.C. Cad. Record No. ———), situated in the Barrio of Taft, Municipality of Surigao, Province of Surigao. Bounded on the NE., along line 1-2, by Nueva St.; on the SE., along line 2-3, by Lot 506; on the SW., along line 3-4, by Lot 3160; and on the NW., along line 4-1, by Lot 503, all of Surigao Cad. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being N. 29° 46' W., 443.75 meters from B.L.L.M. 3, Surigao Cad., thence S. 34° 27' E., 15.17 meters to point 2; thence S. 60° 52' W., 28.07 meters to point 3; thence N. 35° 33' W., 13.09 meters to point 4; thence N. 56° 36' E., 28.21 meters to the point of beginning; containing an area of 397 square meters.
