DECLARING APRIL 30, 1957, AS WOMEN'S RIGHTS DAY

In recognition of the contribution of women to the economic social, and political welfare of the nation, I CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare April 30, 1957, as Women’s Rights Day.
