DECLARING SATURDAY, MARCH 2, 1957, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE AND THE CITY OF ILOILO

WHEREAS, the sixty-sixth birthday anniversary of the late Tomas Confesor, one of our most outstanding resistance leaders during the last war, falls on Saturday, March 2, 1957; and

WHEREAS, the people of Iloilo, his birthplace, desire that they be given full opportunity to celebrate his birthday anniversary with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RAMON MAGSAYSAY, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Saturday, March 2, 1957, as a special public holiday in the province and the city of Iloilo.1âшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
