FURTHER AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 242 DATED JANUARY 9, 1956, AS AMENDED, BY TRANSFERRING SAFE-DRIVING DAY (S-D DAY) FROM THE FIRST DAY OF MARCH TO THE LAST DAY OF FEBRUARY OF EVERY YEAR

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 242 dated January 9, 1956, as amended by Proclamation No. 266 dated February 27, 1956, declared the period from February 22 to 28 (or 29) of every year as Traffic Safety Week and March 1 of every year as Safe-Driving Day; and

WHEREAS, Safe-Driving Day should be an integral part of Traffic Safety Week;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RAMON MAGSAYSAY, President of the Philippines, do hereby further amend Proclamation No. 242 dated January 9, 1956, as amended by Proclamation No. 266 dated February 27, 1956, by transferring Safe-Driving Day from the first day of March to the last day of February of every year.1âшphi1
