MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ PROCLAMATION NO. 79, July 02, 1948 ] FIXING THE DATE FOR THE INAUGURATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CAN-AVID, PROVINCE OF SAMAR. By virtue of the power conferred upon me by section 3 of Republic Act No. 264, I, ELPIDIO QUIRINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby fix July 4, 1948, as the date for the inauguration of the municipality of Can-avid, Samar, and the qualification of the mayor, the vice-mayor and the municipal councilors thereof.1âшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
