MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 786, December 2, 1941 ] CALLING FOR SPECIAL ELECTION OF MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF DANSALAN, PROVINCE OF LANAO. By virtue of the authority conferred upon me by sections sixteen (c) and seventeen of Commonwealth Act Numbered Three hundred and fifty-seven, known as the Election Code, I, MANUEL L. QUEZON, President of the Philippines, hereby issue this proclamation and call a special election to take place on Tuesday, January thirteenth, nineteen hundred and forty-two, ‘in the municipality of Dansalan, Province of Lanao, for the purpose of electing the mayor, the vice-mayor and the councilors of the said municipality. The provisions of the Election Code, in so far as they are applicable, shall be followed in the conduct of the special election herein called. Pursuant to the provisions of section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, and in order to permit the free access of duly qualified voters to the polls, I hereby declare Tuesday, January thirteenth, nineteen hundred and forty-two, a special public holiday in the municipality above-named.
