DECLARING SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 1941, A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY
In commemoration of the day (November fifteenth, nineteen hundred and thirty-five) that saw the birth of our Commonwealth Government, it is but fitting and proper that the sixth anniversary of the inauguration thereof be celebrated and that said day be declared a special public holiday so that the spirit of the occasion may be preserved in the memory of our people.
Now, therefore, I, MANUEL L. QUEZON, President of the Philippines, in pursuance of the provisions of section thirty of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby proclaim Saturday, November fifteenth, nineteen hundred and forty-one, a special public holiday.
