RESERVING FOR SETTLEMENT PURPOSES A PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN THE ALA AND BANGA VALLEYS, IN THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICTS OF MAGANUI, BULUAN, ISULAN, DAGUMA, AND SEBU, PROVINCE OF COTABATO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, as amended, I hereby reserve for settlement purposes, under the administration of the National Land Settlement Administration, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to future classification and survey, and to the conditions that the timber and other forest products therein, as well as the use and occupancy of the area indicated as timber land or forest reserve, shall be placed under the administration and control of the Bureau of Forestry in accordance with the Forest Law and Regulations, the following-described parcel of the public domain situated in the Ala and Banga Valleys, in the municipal districts of Maganui, Buluan, Isulan, Daguma, and Sebu, Province of Cotabato, Island of Mindanao, to wit:

A portion of the public domain situated in the Ala and Banga Valleys, municipal districts of Maganui, Buluan, Isulan, Daguma, and Sebu, Province of Cotabato, Island of Mindanao, and more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point marked “1” on map, being at the intersection of Daguma Mountain Range and Kabilanin River; thence, following a southeasterly direction on passing north of sitio Mao to point “2,” which is at the bank of Banga River; thence, in a southerly direction following the bank of Banga River to point “3,” which is to southwest corner of the claim of Datu Kandalayan (Moro); thence in an easterly direction following the southern boundaries of Datu Kandalayan's claim and Datu Pindi's claim, respectively, to point “4,” at the top of Mount Matulas; thence, following the sides of Mount Matulas and Roxas Mountain Range, respectively (western sides), in a south-southeasterly direction to point “5,” which is at the intersection of Roxas Mountain Range and Banga River; thence, in a westerly direction following the foot of Pito del Carabao Mountain Range to point “6,” which is at the bank of Lanayan River; thence, in a northwesterly direction following the foot of Daguma Mountain Range to point “7,” which is at the intersection of the foot of Daguma Mountain Range and Kakab River; thence, still following the foot of Daguma Mountain Range in a north-northwesterly direction to the point of beginning. Containing ah area of 110,000 hectares.

Bounded on the north by public land and by the lands claimed by Datu Kandalayan and Datu Pindi (Moro), respectively; on the east, by Matulas Mountain and Roxas Mountain Range, respectively; on the south, by Pito del Carabao Mountain Range; and on the west, by Daguma Mountain Range.
