MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 745, August 14, 1941 ] CALLING FOR SPECIAL ELECTION OF MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF DANSALAN, PROVINCE OF LANAO. Whereas no election was held in the municipality of Dansalan, Province of Lanao, in the general elections on December tenth, nineteen hundred and forty, because of the expected organization of the City of Dansalan which was created under Commonwealth Act Numbered Five hundred and ninety-two; and Whereas it has been decided to postpone indefinitely the organization of the City of Dansalan; Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority conferred upon me by sections 16 (c) and 17 of Commonwealth Act Numbered Three hundred and fifty-seven, known as the Election Code, I, MANUEL L. QUEZON, President of the Philippines, hereby issue this proclamation and call a special election to take place on Tuesday, November eleventh, nineteen hundred and forty-one, in the municipality of Dansalan, Province of Lanao, for the purpose of electing the mayor, the vice-mayor and the councilors of the said municipality. The provisions of the Election Code, in so far as they are applicable, shall be followed in the conduct of the special election herein called.1aшphi1 In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.
