MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 682, February 17, 1941 ] RESERVING FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF SAN FRANCISCO, MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JOSE, PROVINCE OF NUEVA ECIJA, ISLAND OF LUZON. Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for school purposes, under the administration of the Director of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following parcel of the public domain, situated in the barrio of San Francisco, municipality of San Jose, Province of Nueva Ecija, island of Luzon and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Bsd-7722, to wit: Lot No. 1539-A—The municipal government of San Jose.— A parcel of land (lot No. 1539-A of the subdivision plan Bsd-7722, being a portion of lot No. 1539 of the cadastral survey of Vaca Valley, G. L. R. O. Cad. Record No. 251 situated in the barrio of San Francisco, municipality of San Jose, Province of Nueva Ecija. Bounded on the N., by lot No. 1538; on the E., by lot No. 1539-B of the subdivision plan; on the S., by lot No. 1092; and on the W., by lot No. 350. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being due north 290.00 m. more or less from B. L L. M. No. 5, Vaca Valley Cad. No. 53, thence N. 89° 51' E., 111.50 m. to point “2”; thence south, 90.29 m. to point “3”;thence west, 111.50 m. to point “4”; thence north, 90.00 m. to the point of beginning; containing an area of ten thousand thirty six square meters (10,036), more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan; and on the ground, points “2” and “3” are marked by B. L. concrete monuments; and the rest, by old B. L. concrete monuments; bearings true; declination 0° 38' E.; date of the original survey, June, 1915-December, 1917 and that of the subdivision survey, July 3 1940.
