ESTABLISHING AS HUNDRED ISLANDS NATIONAL PARK FOR THE BENEFIT AND ENJOYMENT OF THE PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES THE GROUP OF ISLANDS SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALAMINOS, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN, ISLAND OF LUZON.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, and pursuant to the provisions of section one of Act Numbered Thirty-nine hundred and fifteen, entitled “An Act providing for the establishment of national parks, declaring such parks as game refuges, and for other purposes,” I, MANUEL L. QUEZON, Present of the Philippines hereby reserve for park purposes for the benefit and enjoyment of the people of the Philippines and withdraw from sale, settlement, or other dispositions, subject to private rights, if any there be, the group of islands of the public domain situated in the municipality of Alaminos, Province of Pangasinan, Island of Luzon and described in the Bureau of Forestry Map No. N. P.-13, to wit:

Beginning at corner marked 1.on Burearu of Forestry Map No. N. P.-31, a point on the coastline which is 68° E., about 6,500 meters from Poblacion, municipality of Alaminos, Province of Pangasinan; thence following coastline in general northwesterly direction, about 1,970 meters to corner 2, a point on coastline; thence N. 3° W., 3,930 meters to corner 3, a point at the intersection of east longitude 120° 01' 30” and north latitude 16° 13' 00”; thence, N. 33° E., 3,280 meters to corner 4, appoint at the intersection of east longitude 120° 02' 30” and north latitude 16° 14' 30”; thence due east, 1,780 motors to corner 5, a point at the intersection of east longitude 120° 03' 30” and north latitude 16° 14' 30"; thence S. 5° W., 6,600 meters to corner 6, a point on coastline; thence following coastline in a general southeasterly and southwesterly directions, about 420 meters to corner 7, a rocky hill, marked 1632/51, identical to corner 13 of block II, alienable and disposable, Pangasinan project No. 30; thence S. 52° W., 747 meters to corner 8, an agoho tree, 40 cm. in diameter, marked 1632/53; identical to corner 12 of block II, alienable and disposable, Pangasinan project No. 30; thence N. 57° W., 357 meters to corner 9, a dungonlate tree, 30 cm. in diameter, marked 1632/21, identical to corner 11 of block II, alienable and disposable, Pangasinan project No. 30; thence 62° W., 480 meters to corner 10, a point on the boundary between corners 10 and 11 of block II, alienable and disposable, Pangasinan project No. 30; and thence N. 24° W., 400 meters to the point of beginning.

Containing an area of approximately 1,844 hectares.

The said group of islands shall be known as “Hundred Islands National Park” and shall remain under the administration of the Bureau of Forestry, subject to the general executive control and supervision of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.
