Proclamation No. 526

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES THREE PARCELS OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIOS OF OSORIO, SUMARAY AND PANPANAN, MUNICIPALITY OF SAN REMIGIO, PROVINCE OF ANTIQUE, ISLAND OF PANAY.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for school purposes, under the administration of the Director of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following parcels of the public domain, situated in the barrios of Osorio, Sumaray and Panpanan, municipality of San Remigio, Province of Antique, island of Panay, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Mr-407, to wit:

Lot No. 1 (Bo. of Osorio).—Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-407, S. 88° 57′ E. 7,928.17 m., more or less, from B. L. L. M. No. 1, Mp. of San Remigio. thence N. 55° 38′ E. 122.30 m. to point 2; S. 34° 37′ E. 247.71 m. to point 3; S. 49° 23′ W. 98.97 m. to point 4; N. 39° 54′ W. 259.74 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 28,003 square meters.

All corners are B. L. concrete monuments 15 x 60 cm.

Bounded on the northeast by property of Telesforo Mariano; on the southeast, by property of Gregorio Rafael; on the southwest, by property of the municipal government of San Remigio; and on the northwest, by property of Juan Alejandro.

Bearings true. Declination 1° 36′ E.

Lot No. 2 (Bo. of Sumaray).—Beginning at a point mark-l Bureau of Lands plan Mr—107, N. 53° 29′ E. 12,922.35 m., more or less, from B. L. L. M. No. 1, Mp. of San Remigio, I" 52′ E. 203.72 m. to point 2; S. 58° 21′ W. m. to point 3; N. 60° 39′ W. 129.30 m. to point 4; 2 m. to point 1, point of beginning. an area of 30,019 square meters. All corners are B. L. concrete monuments 15 x 60 cm. ::cied on the northeast, southeast and southwest, by property of Maximo Orbasayan; and on the northwest, by property of Juan Caman.

Lot No. 3 (Bo. of Panpanan).—Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-407, N. 64° 00′ E. 19,394.09 m., more or less, from B. L. L. M. No. 1, Mp. of San Remigio, thence N. 25° 08′ W. 56.28 m. to point 2; N. 5° 06’ W. 146.10 m. to point 3; N. 1° 54′ E. 103.88 m. to point 4; N. 86° 09′ E. 119.90 m. to point 5; S. 0° 29′ E. 190.42 m. to point 6; S. 36° 40′ W. 147.05 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 30,214 square meters.

Point 2, nail on cross tree; and the rest are B. L. concrete monuments 15 x 60 cm.

Bounded on the north, east and southeast, by public land; and on the southwest and west, by property of Calixto Calawigan.

The reservation of the sites in the barrio3 of Sumaray and Panpanan is subject further to the condition that any time that the said sites are abandoned for school purposes, the same shall revert to the category of public forest.
