Proclamation No. 396

RESERVING FOR MILITARY PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF CENTRAL, MUNICIPALITY OF PUERTO PRINCESA, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, ISLAND OF PALAWAN.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section sixty-four (d) of the Revised Administrative Code, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for military purposes, under the administration of the Chief of Staff of the Philippine Army, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following parcel of the public domain, situated in the barrio of Central, municipality of Puerto Princesa, Province of Palawan, Island of Palawan, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Ir-457, to wit:

Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Ir-457, N. 47° 09′ W. 347.16 m. from B. L. L. M. No. 1, mu­nicipality of Puerto Princesa, thence S. 38° 33′ W. 60.00 m. to point 2; N. 51° 28′ W. 40.00 m. to point 3; N. 38° 33′ E. 59.98 m. to point 4; S. 51° 29′ E. 39.99 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 2,399 square meters.

Points 1, 2, 3, and 4, are points under water.

Bounded on the northeast by sea water; on the southeast, southwest, and northwest, by Puerto Princesa Bay.

Bearings true. Declination, 1° 37′ E.

Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Ir-457.

NOTE.—Soundings in feet at mean lower low water have been obtained from Data of Development Plan of the Port of Puerto Princesa.
