Proclamation No. 74

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES A PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF CEBUANO BARRACKS, MUNICIPALITY OF LABAÑGAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-one of Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred and seventy-four, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for school purposes, under the administration of the Director of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcel of the public domain situated in the Barrio of Cebuano Barracks, Municipality of Labañgan, Province of Zamboanga, Island of Mindanao, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Swo-14506, to wit:

Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Swo-14506, S. 17ْ 35’ E. 520.41 m., more or less, from monument No. 2, barrio of Cebuano Barracks, municipality of Labañgan, thence S. 63ْ 12’ E. 98.56 m. to point 2; S. 25ْ 12’ W. 199.16 m. to point 3; N. 65ْ 01’ W. 100.45 m. to point 4; N. 25ْ 44’ E. 202.28 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 19,969 square meters.

All corners are P. L. S. cylindrical concrete monuments, 15 by 60 cm.

Bounded on the northeast, by proposed Rizal Street; on the southeast, by proposed Mabini Street; on the southwest, by proposed Andres Bonifacio Street; and on the northwest, by proposed Hare-Hawes-Cutting Street.

Bearing true. Declination, 2ْ 10’ E.

Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Swo-14506.

True copy approved: June 4, 1936.
